Inooro Fm is a 24 hour Vernacular radio station that broadcasts in Kikuyu language. The station was started on 21st July 2003. Its main target audience is between 25-45+ and a secondary target audience of between 18-24years. The station enjoys a vast foot print in central Kenya and thus has 8 frequencies which are Nairobi 98.FM, Nakuru 88.9FM, Nyeri 97.8FM, Meru 95.1 FM, Eldoret 107.0 FM, Londiani 89.9 FM, Murang’a 96.9 FM, and Embu 102.0 FM.

The above frequencies enable us to cover Nyandarua, Nyeri, Kirinyaga, Murang’a, Thika, Kiambu, Embu, Mbeere, Laikipia, Nakuru and Kajiado very well. This goes in line with our educative, informative and entertaining programming; our heritage not withstanding that makes us the station of choice in most of these areas.
