Kigaguro welcomes the community to the day and provides them with news updates and details of the top issues in the county and around the country. Other segments in the morning program include, Prayers, newspaper review and educational life issues.

SEGMENTS
MAVOYA
This is the first segment of the show where we have opening prayers as we begin the day, led by the presenter. We also share a word from the Bible, to take us through the day. The segment runs from 5:00-5:30am

KURAMUKANIA
After beginning the day with a word of prayer, in this segment we exchange pleasantries. Listeners call in and send shout outs to their friends, inviting them to tune in to the show. This runs from 5:40-6:00am.

KUGUURIA NGATHETI
This is a 20 minutes segment that is purely newspaper review. The presenter goes through the local dailies, to give the listener a summary of the key issues and interesting stories highlighted in the papers. This runs from 6:40am-7:00am.

KITHAA KIA MUTHIKIRIRIA
After the 7am main news bulletin, the remainder of the hour is a segment for listeners. Here, the listeners call in and request the music they want played within that hour. This is a secular music segment that runs between 7:20-8:00am.

KÍRATHI GIA KÍGAGURO
This is an hour long segment, which is the climax of the show that runs from 8:10-9:00am. In this segment, the presenter hosts a regular guest John Mukundi discussing a wide range of educational life issues. These include how to grow one individually, starting and growing businesses, relationships advice, how to sustain marriages and better our families, among others. The guest is a jack of all of trades with insurmountable knowledge on matters economics, religion, life skills, relationships etc.
Towards the end of the show, we take a few calls to get feedback on how the class was.
