Sangara

Sangara is a revue of stories, teachings and music that follow the plot, context, analysis, character breakdowns and summary of the good old ‘grandma’ teachings on culture and traditions. The 5-hour show begins with hymns from the ‘Kitabu chi Zinyimbu’-Golden Bells, and the tempo rises to Luhya Secular Music with heated discussions on family unit and values, Cultural norms and practices and the day to day lives of a society. It ends with the Country Music of the 80’s and 90’s, simply reminiscing the good ol’ days.
