Skiza is a call back ringback tune service that was launched by Safaricom Telco back in 2009. The idea was to help artists monetize on their music when people subscribed to their music on Skiza. Initially it was music only but as time went on other content creators were also given the opportunity to onboard their content. Royal media services became a partner in 2018. The chairman SK Macharia who has always been passionate about the artists saw a gap that would help him assist. Hence SKIZA NA CITIZEN was born. Within a short time skiza na citizen was able to make an impact from the 100 plus service providers or Content providers as they are so refered to and become top 3.
