Kudzacha is a mijikenda word meaning dawn or day Break and as the name suggests it is the first show that starts up your day every weekday (breakfast show) on Bahari fm.Kudzacha is an established radio programme that focuses on issues affecting the society directly from Politics, development, social issues etc.
HOUR 1 (5AM – 6AM)
Lamukani Kudzacha -We pick calls from listeners as we play coastal music and bongo flava as we interact with our listeners along the coast line.
Wazo la siku -A motivational word for the day can be picked from the Bible,Quaran or any motivational quotes chosen for the day.
HOUR 2 (6AM – 7AM)
Fundo Lako-A phone inn session meant to give our listener the chance to raise complaints or problems they face in matters development, infrastructure, education, health, leadership, as we pick some of the issue and address them to the relevant authorities for follow up. Presenter can also come up with their own fundo as a matter of discussion what they think happened based on current affairs) thay they feel is against morals.
Kokoto Moto- This is a brain Teaser session open for 5-7 minutes. Ideally more thrilling when we award winners with goodies airtime, gift hampers or money.
Tathmini ya barabara –Traffic check and update on major coastal towns
Mombasa, Malindi, Ukunda.
Wazo bonzo- Asession where we bring out issues on a lighter note or the comical side of life as we undergo our daily life routine.(You may source this from dondoo za hapa na pale or internet sites.
Kindumbwe Ndumbwe- Sports News
Uchambuzi Wa Magazeti-A newspaper review segment which is also made interactive highlighting stories making headline as published on the local dailies.
HOUR 3 (7AM – 8AM)
Kunani- Focus on what is making headlines from the grassroots level either from the days’ news or audience who call in and inform the presenter and what prevailed the previous day which is of interest to the society.

Chimbuko-A 2-3 minutes feature segment that highlights on the rich history and culture of the coastal people, place and people’s and their origins e.g. Mwembe tayari, Shika Adabu, Mariakani, Shimoni etc.
Kapu la shamba- A 3-5 minutes farming tips and feature segment. (Currently sponsored by Equity)
HOUR 4 (8AM – 9AM)
Mjadala Leo- It is the final segment where we pick a major topic be it Land issues, politics,health, leadership, social matters including inviting guests in the studio to shed light on matters arising on daily basis, this segment also allows for zoom debates and live-links with our on ground reporters, involving either or both dignitaries and local residents and it`s interactive also to listeners through Call ins, texts messages and our various social media handles –
