“Omogusii N’Ekebago” translates to “Mkisii with a Jembe”. The jembe is the main tool that was used to hoe and thus produce food and livelihood to the Abagusii. The three-hour program is encourages people to work hard and earn an honest living. Blending local Ekegusii music, salaams and the peoples’ voices; the program is a focused on personal growth and development in major aspects of life and accordingly every day has a different theme as indicated below. It comprises segments such as Salaams, mjadala hour, health and food hour, Kazi ni Kazi feature, know your rights, family and social issues.
